3 dimensional movement
The movement of our body is in three dimensions. The three planes of movement are called: Sagittal ( Front to Back), Frontal ( Side to side), Transverse (Rotating about the center of the body).
For your body to maintain its optimal function, it must retain the greatest amount of freedom within these three planes of movement. This is accomplished by regularly moving in a variety of combinations of movements in all 3 planes to ensure optimal function of our body in all 3 dimensions.
